Methodology

From raw extract to briefing-room chart

Our process follows the same sequence for every engagement: validate, select, annotate, review, deliver.

Extract validation

We check required fields, date ranges, and duplicate claim numbers before any chart is drawn. Missing reserve history or inconsistent status codes are reported back with a fix list.

Chart selection

Analysts match your KPI list to panel types we maintain—drift, cycle-time, geographic, cohort loss ratio—not the other way around. We document why each chart was chosen.

Annotation pass

Every panel receives margin notes citing claim numbers, date ranges, and calculation rules. Directors should never need a separate legend sheet.

Revision window

One structured revision round covers factual corrections and annotation edits. Layout changes after approval incur additional fees quoted before work proceeds.

Print and bind

A3 charts receive brass-corner mounts. Board materials can be bound in walnut-finish folios. Digital copies are watermarked per recipient.

File destruction

Working extracts and intermediate files are deleted thirty days after delivery unless you request earlier destruction or extended retention under amendment.

Data we need from you

Minimum fields: claim number, line of business, incurred loss, paid loss, reserve, status, adjuster ID, loss date, report date. Geographic panels additionally require postal code or si/gun/gu. Cohort panels require consistent accident-year or report-year tagging.

What we do not do in this process

We do not connect to your claims system directly, host live dashboards, or alter reserves. We visualize the extract you provide and annotate what it shows.
